Hillingdon health visiting teams

Our health visiting teams work with parents, carers and families to promote the health and wellbeing of children from pregnancy until school age.  Our job is to offer support and informed advice from pregnancy until your child starts school.  The first time we get in contact is antenatally as the building blocks for your baby’s physical and mental health are being put in place now.  If you have questions about your pregnancy have a look at our useful information here.

Remember that no matter what challenges you may have, there are always things that you can do to help your baby and the health visiting team is here to help.

Key help for the early days

The 0-4 years section of our website also has lots of information for parents and carers of children about all aspects of your child’s health, development and wellbeing. Have a look and save to support you in your parenting journey.

Children's Centres across Hillingdon also run Your Bump and Beyond  (Antenatal Course) - A 5-week fun, practical and interactive antenatal programme delivered with support from the Midwifery and the Health Visiting Teams. The programme covers birth, real life topics, nappy changing, bathing, feeding and family life. Click to find your local children's centre.
