Local charities & advice centres

There are different charities and advice centres working to help Hillingdon residents. These can offer support and are either charities or non-profit agencies that can give health advice, parenting support or advice on issues such as benefits and housing.

My Health Hillingdon

My Health Hillingdon programme is an education & empowerment programme designed to give patients the knowledge, skills & confidence to take control of their health.

The overall aim of the programme is to engage, educate and empower those living with long term conditions and other health issues, both physically and mentally to enable them to better self-care, self-manage and navigate services by increasing knowledge, skills, and confidence.

The philosophy of the programme is to ensure that the residents of Hillingdon can access high quality, evidence-based care in a setting appropriate to their needs by transforming the way care is delivered by co-producing the programme with service users and carers, providers, the local authority and community and voluntary sector groups.
